INBODY 270 BODY COMPOSITION
Your Weight Is Only One Number. See What It’s Made Of.
Two people can weigh exactly the same and have very different amounts of muscle, body fat, and lean tissue. InBody 270 gives us a more useful starting point for programming and progress tracking than scale weight alone.
What Does Inbody Measure?
Go Beyond the Scale
InBody 270 breaks body weight into muscle, fat, and lean tissue and shows how lean mass is distributed across your body. That gives us a clearer starting point and a better way to measure meaningful change over time.

See how much muscle you carry and track changes as your training progresses.
Skeletal Muscle Mass
Body Composition History
Track changes in muscle, body fat, and weight over time so progress is easy to see.
Body Fat Analysis
Measure body fat percentage and fat mass—not just total body weight.
Body Fat & Lean Mass Control
See whether your goal should focus on reducing body fat, increasing lean mass, or both.
SEGMENTAL LEAN ANALYSIS
See how muscle is distributed through your arms, legs, and trunk to identify imbalances.
Basal Metabolic Rate
Estimate how much energy your body uses at rest to help guide nutrition and training decisions.
BEFORE YOUR INBODY TEST
For the most consistent and accurate results:
-
No food for at least 3 hours before your test.
-
Do not exercise beforehand. Ideally test when fully recovered from strenuous exercise.
-
Stay normally hydrated the day before; don’t intentionally dehydrate yourself.
-
Avoid alcohol and excess caffeine for 24 hours.
-
Use the restroom before testing.
-
Do not apply lotion to your hands or feet.
-
Wear light clothing and remove socks, heavy jewelry, watches, and accessories.
-
Whenever possible, retest at the same time of day and under similar conditions so we can compare results accurately.
Morning appointments are ideal when possible.
Testing Should Change What We Do Next
InBody gives us objective data, but the numbers are not the end goal. We use your results, along with your goals, training history, movement assessment, and metabolic information, to make smarter decisions about your program.
TRAINING PRIORITIES
Use lean mass and segmental balance to guide what we train and where more attention may be needed.
BODY COMPOSITION GOALS
Set clearer goals for building muscle, reducing body fat, or maintaining your current composition.
NUTRITION SUPPORT
Use your body composition and estimated resting metabolism as part of smarter nutrition decisions.
PROGRESS TRACKING
Repeat your InBody scan under similar conditions to measure change and adjust your program.
Measure → Understand → Program → Reassess
Your Results. Explained.
An InBody scan is only useful if you understand what the numbers mean. We review your report with you, explain your muscle, body fat, and segmental results, then use the data to guide training, recovery, nutrition goals, and future progress.

WHO IS INBODY FOR?
FAT LOSS & BODY RECOMPOSITION
See whether changes in body weight are coming from body fat, muscle, or both—giving you a clearer picture of your progress.
MUSCLE & STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT
Establish your muscle-mass baseline and track whether your training is helping you build and maintain lean tissue.
ATHLETES & EQUESTRIANS
Monitor muscle balance and body composition to support performance, recovery, and the physical demands of your sport.
HEALTH & FITNESS PROGRESS
Use objective measurements instead of relying only on the scale, mirror, or how clothes fit to track changes over time.
